I suppose we will have to seriously look at vertical farming like this eventually. For one thing unless there is a large and fundamental shift away from pertro culture we will be facing very high (transport) prices eventually. Vertical farms would give us ‘local’ produce in urban centres … one small step towards making the macrobiotics happy.
