‘Techos Azules’ Hotel, Colombia is a latest project from Swedish architectural firm visiondivision.

‘A blue lounge stairway set amid a jungle environment that connects all the programs on the different levels; the hotel rooms, the restaurant/bar and the pool. From the stairway the hotel clients have a view of the setting sun and the ocean.

The whole construction is made out of blocks which together form a super grid and enhances the strict symmetries of the structure in comparison with the wild nature.

The site is fairly complicated with slopes going in different directions. The stairs will follow the nature as much as possible without trying to modify the ground too much and will connect the height differences in a seamless way.

The rooms have a bathroom, a kitchenette and space for a table. From the terrace the guests can see the ocean. The interior is completely blue as well.’
