Stockholm-based Petrén Merom Architects and Scheiwiller Svensson Architects Office have designed the SWAN (‘SVANEN’) in Gävle, Sweden.
The 150 meter high building will include offices, hotels, conference and residential service. The complex will include an open courtyard in the middle of the building.
‘The SWAN, will be a unique building putting Sweden into the international architectural arena!’
Länsförsäkringar hope that the SWAN will be a brand for the entire region and Sweden in general.
‘Drawing a building is giving form to a vision, sketching a philosophy. Building a house without first analysing the conditions is like building a house without a foundation.
