SUV 12 // Lima // Peru // Suv12 Architects

Exploring the idea of a neighborhood contemporary architects Suv12 proposed densify ground of approximately 17 hectares, located in one of the most important economic and commercial centers of Lima.

One of the important considerations went to rescue architectural configurations of housing and urban collective past and adapt them according to the current economic environment, sustainability etc.

The set consists of a joint program such as community buildings, educational spaces and facilities for both sports culture. Most of the spaces are housing- 2,500 units in total.

The plan of chaining blocks was inspired by the idea of creating public spaces and of providing good light and views to the outside.

The concept of flexible housing was another factor for consideration in mind the different types of families and able to combine this variety of plants in the same block, there is no one plant type, but rather will combine modules.

Housing spaces are also designed with some flexibility, so that the user has some options for change. On the exterior structure, for example, may be created additional space as terraces, gardens, etc.

This is an incredible design. I love the chain element and the way it twists and wraps around. I’m not as crazy about the straight on view as I am the aeriel, but the concept of this is awesome. It’s innovative and has a place in the world today. It has my vote as a place of intrigue.

Man! I’ve never seen so many great buildings in one place.
This place looks like a dream. I hope I can go there sometime…… maybe in a few years.
The design is great. I hope the real thing is just as good as its shown in the pics.
