’softwall, designed by molo design, is a freestanding partition that can be expanded and contracted to freely shape intimate space within larger open space.

softwalls can be fanned open to just over 5000mm (16.5’) in length, or smaller dimensions as desired, due to the flexible nature of the structure. For efficient storage and shipping, softwall can be compressed in ‘length’ to a remarkably small dimension of less than 50mm (2”) and then folded in half like a blanket! softwall is available in standard and custom heights of up to 3050mm (10’) tall. softwalls are available in paper and textile variations, in translucent white and opaque black. The cellular honeycomb structure of softwall also serves to dampen sound. Recognized for its poetic and pragmatic beauty and innovation, softwall has been acquired by the MoMA in New York for their permanent collection. molo was selected as a winner of the International INDEX:Award 2005, hosted by Denmark, for softwall and the evolving concepts of soft.’
