The six shortlisted buildings for the RIBA Stirling Prize 2008 were announced last week.

The shortlisted projects are:

• Royal Festival Hall // London // Allies and Morrison
• Westminster Academy at the Naim Dangoor Centre // London // Allford Hall Monaghan Morris
