At 2,380 sf, Michelle Kaufmann Designs Sidebreeze is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, 2-story version of the Sunset® Breezehouse. This home has all of the healthy and sustainable design aspects of the original Sunset Breezehouse and is designed for smaller lots, sloped sites or for those who simply want to live in a light-filled, harmonious, 2-story home.

Venice SwellHouse
This site-built house is a development of the SwellHouse. A modular grid of exposed steel columns and beams orchestrates the spatial and structural design of this open live-work project. A SIP (Structural Insulated Panel) system of prefabricated wall and roof panels provide further modular structural stability, as well as thermal and acoustic insulation.
Seatrain
This 3,000 sf residence is situated in a 300 loft live-work artist community by the Brewery. Industrial and traditional materials are playfully combined, using storage containers and steel found on-site in downtown LA.
Santa Monica PreFab 2
This ‘L’ shaped prefabricated house synthesizes standard modular dimensions, complex setback requirements and solar orientation to make maximum use of the site and delineate several outdoor spaces. The 3950 sf residence is made up of eight steel-frame modules.

This 16 ft. wide, four-module house has been carefully fitted into its 25 ft. by 100 ft. narrow lot. The 2330 s.f. two-story prefabricated house sits on a flat corner lot.
Road Runner
Jennifer Siegal bought her home in 2002, a deceased estate that had not been upgraded in over fifty years. The existing 1920s stucco box totaled 800 sf and is now 1200 sf.
Pacific Palisades PreFab
This 3600 sf two-story prefabricated house sits on a flat lot in an ‘L’ configuration. While the street-facing front facade is compositionally compatible with neighboring houses, the long elevation facing the backyard features four large sliding glass doors.
ShowHouse
OMD’s Prefab ShowHouse, a development of the Portable House, exhibits the ideas of prefabrication, flexibility, portability and compact spaciousness. Its central kitchen/bath core divides and separates the sleeping space from the eating/living space in a compact assemblage of form and function.
Manhattan Beach PreFab
This 22 ft. by 80 ft. eight-module house has been carefully fitted into its narrow inboard lot on a walk street in Manhattan Beach. The modules were transported along the rear alley and craned into place.
Joshua Tree PreFab
This ‘L’ shaped house is made up of two modules mitred together at the angle intersection. The 900 s.f. get-away-from-it-all weekend house sits in an expansive desert environment.

LV150 Home
The LV150 is our LV series home that can withstand 150 mph winds and complies with the most stringent hurricane code. The LV150 is an 1150 sq. ft home that is 25'-1” x 49'-1” and has a living room, dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and closets. It can also be reconfigured to have one master suite and master bathroom. The LV150 home starts at $37,825.

miniHome Solo (SE)
The miniHome Solo is the smallest miniHome at 275 sq ft within it's 36' x 8' shell. Classified as a travel-trailer and built on a steel frame with three wheeled axels, the solo can be easily towed to any site as a semi-permanent home. The newest "SE" edition features 350 sq ft of asand improved design, hardware and finishes.


miniHome Duo
The miniHome Duo is a solo + an additional "Duo Module" added on site forming a 350 sq ft permanent miniHome. The newest "SE" edition features 475 sq ft of interior space with improved interior design and finishes.


miniHome 12 x 33
The miinHome 12x33 (A.K.A. 12Wide) is the largest miniHome at 392 sq ft. The 12Wide features super-insulation (R40), and external shading fins. Like all of the miniHomes, these units are intended to be completely self-sufficient, incredibly energy-efficient and operated "off grid" with hybrid solar / wind / propane energy systems.

Off-grid IT HOUSE
The itHouse is a design system developed by Taalman Koch that utilizes a series of components prefabricated off-site in order to better control the construction waste, labor, and quality of the finished product. Conceived as a small house with glass walls and open floor plan, the itHouse maximizes the relationship of the occupant to the surrounding landscape while minimizing the impact to delicate site conditions. Exceptionally high quality control is built-in to every part, arriving on-site pre-cut and pre-drilled for rapid and foolproof assembly. The basic Component Package is for a 1,100sf, two bedroom, one bath, double courtyard iT house.


900 sq. ft. Model
The House arrives completely pre-wired (100 amps.), all power outlets, electrical panel, and switches, ready to be hooked up to the local power source for immediate use. Wood grain interior kitchen cabinets and basin style kitchen sinks are included. All required plumbing, toilet facilities, and a complete bathroom unit containing a full bathtub are incorporated into the housing design. Screws, caulking guns, finishing materials etc. are shipped with the House. All models can be fully installed and habitable in one week or less.
