Parasoleil Recycled Content Panels

Boulder, a Colorado-based Parasoleil company makes these panels from a variety of so called green materials, such as FSC-certified wood, aluminum, and steel. Using 90-95% recycled content copper for the copper panels, these panels are made in a zero waste process that uses efficient waterjet manufacturing. And they’re 100% recyclable, too.

The panels can be used for almost anything imaginable. Shade, canopies, fences, ceilings, surfaces, cladding, architectural light/shade, partitions, cabinet door material.

Some further information from the developer:

‘Parasoleil are green-certified copper panels typically used for shade and privacy. Designed for all types of weather, Parasoleil is made to compliment the natural landscape and any architectural design.

Custom panels are 40% of the business producing custom sizes and designs in thick steel railings, green-cert. composite materials for interior projects, and aluminum to be anodized or powder coated.

Parasoleil was founded in 2001 in Boulder, Colorado as an Architectural Metals company by artist, Uriah Bueller. Honesty, Equality, Creativity, and Excellence are the core values of Parasoleil as it continues to expand. As an artist first and a manufacturer second, Mr. Bueller believes that being able to meet the custom needs of each new project has been important to the vitality and growth of Parasoleil.

Parasoleil is a relatively new product. It was unveiled in Denver, CO and again nationally in 2007 in San Francisco, CA. And while it is green-certified and useful in more applications than can be explained in one letter, it is important to have help figuring out where to go next.’

Can any kind of metal be recycled? I mean, I am confident they can be somehow, but will recycling centers give you money you for any kind of metal? Even steel? I have a whole bunch of stuff in my backyard I would totally be willing to haul down to the nearest recycling facility if I knew they would offer me $ for it.
