These devices are utter distractions ...unfortunately, even menaces to drivers trying to negotiate LA traffic. Unfortunately, I view the Gateway Art Tower project as ill-conceived because it fucnctions as a jarring "attention-getter" amidst an already demanding environment. The best I can hope for is that someone in charge of content will fill the display cache with tranquil imagery that offsets the the Tower's unreasonably stark architecture and assertive surroundings.
