Every year the design and fashion magazine Wallpaper, assembles a prestigious jury to pick the top designs and designers from the past year. The Wallpaper Design Awards for 2009 have now been released. The jury composed of Kanye West, Jean Nouvel, Ines de la Fressange, Marc Newson, Sir Ken Adam and Stefano Pilati picked winners in 11 categories. Winners included Marc Newsom’s ‘Hob and Oven’ and Sou Fujimoto’s ‘Final Wooden House’ the best designer of the year award went to Patrick Norguet and Paris was named the best city.

The winners for 2009 are:
